Betsy!!! These are looking great, so much character! The monster looks like he could star as the villain in a new, hipper version of scooby doo :) Seriously though, this is incredibly professional.
The only thing I would say is that the plaid pattern on fattie's shirt is going straight across, flattening him out. Since all the lines on the rest of him (and on the monster) are following the form and adding to the feeling of solid volume, I would maybe curve the pattern to follow his belly. Going flatter or more volumetric is a stylistic choice at this point, since you have the skills to do either, I just noticed that the general tendency in these two work was in favor of volume and those lines were the only ones going against the grain.
Ramon-- Thank you!!! :) Also, the choice to make his shirt and pants very flat was very deliberate. I'm trying to start doing things where I am playing with flat shapes and volume. Makes things more interesting to look at, I think! I didn't get enough of the flat vs. volume going in the other creature, though, which is something that I am working on in the final illustration that I'm doing with these guys.
