Another one inspired by a photo (that I can't seem to find online again... sorry original photographer! If you recognize this, please let me know and I'll credit you!). This technique is fun and so much quicker than what I've been doing for years!
Thank you! The grass is mostly done with a Photoshop brush (one of the defaults). I just played with the opacity and varied the colors to make it look natural and interesting.

Dunno if you tried, but if you have the original photograph there is some service like TinEye to help you find the artist. (with some luck)
