I sketched this last night and played with it a bit in Photoshop. There should be more Community Band concerts. I keep liking the sketches I do at them.
You've got some nice line-work/color here. What kind of instrument are you making those marks with? What are your summer plans? Have a sweet time at school next year!
I did the line-work with a ballpoint pen and a brushpen in an earthbound sketchbook, and all of the color was done in photoshop. Not much going on here this summer--I'm a city parks employee working 40 hours a week, doing summer school, and trying very hard to squeeze some art in here and there. Hope to see your work around! It's great to hear from you!
Just seeing this makes me kick myself. I went to a sports event this morning and I didn't think to carry my flipping sketch book. *pouts*
